New Team Leader!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You have worked so hard and it has paid off!!! Being a team leader is so much fun and so rewarding!! Not only will your paycheck increase, but you have your own team!! Their successes are your own!! The sky is the limit!!!

Terminology

-"Central Group"- Right now, everyone underneath you is considered your central group!! This includes all of your personal recruits and their recruits!

-"First Line"-  Your first line will be when you have a team member promote out!! Then all of her downline will be your first line group!

Leader Story Continued...

How does a $500 bonus sound to you?!  You have already worked hard the last two months to maintain team and personal sales, while also helping your recruits.  If you can continue this for just three more months, you can earn the last prize in "Write Your Own Success Story"!!

For three months after you promote, you need:

  • $1000 in personal sales
  • $2750 in team sales
  • 5 total success bound recruits after month 3 of leadership

Your New Role

-As a TL your biggest role is to be the support system for your team, including any new recruits!  This just means checking in with your team members to help with any questions or needs they may have!!  It is best to create some sort of "system" that will work for you!!  This may not seem necessary with a smaller team, yet as your team grows, it will be important!!  Your system may be just writing down notes in a planner, using a team binder, or even using a computerized program.  You just need to find what works best for you!!

-NEW RECRUITS-  As you get new members on your team, you want to welcome them. This is not only for your personal recruits, but any new recruits in your central group. This allows them to view you as a support to their business!!!  There are many ways you should do this!!
  • Welcome email with general information (ID number, website, training blog, etc)
  • Personal message on Facebook
  • Optional- Welcome treat in the mail! This can be anything from a cookie (Cheryl's), to a small package with a card and UBAM goodie!

-Check-In's (general guides)- This is just a quick message/text/call to check in!
  • New Recruits in incentive period - Multiple times per week
  • Active Team Members- 1-2 times per week
  • Those in Promotion Process- Multiple times/week to daily
  • Inactive members Or Infrequent sellers- Every few weeks

General Tips

-Help your downline learn to problem solve! If you give them the answers, they will never learn to look themselves!!  Tell them where to look for answers (training site, backoffice, etc)

-You can check tracking information for downline! (Backoffice>Essentials>Order Tracking> Change search from "PO Number" to "Consultant ID"

-Write down/Record the key dates for new recruits (30 days, End of Incentive Period).  This will help you remember to check in and help them meet their goals!
